This article helps explain the pages of PbyB and their capabilities

Search Page

The Search Page makes it simple for you to search for a property or properties by applying different filters and saving your search results.


Location of the Search page

  • It is the first option within the sidebar.


Parts of the Search page

  • Search Location:

    • This is where you can input the location of where you want to search. You can input the address of the property or properties, the city they are located in, the state, or you can search by zip code.

  • Search Filters:

    • This is where you can enter your search filters.

  • Search results:

    • This is where you can see the properties that match your search filters.

  • You can bookmark the properties and they will be saved within the page 'My Properties'.

  • You can also add a property to a call list.

  • Property Information:

    • After selecting a property from the search results, you can also access different types of information for the selected property.

  • Map:

    • This is where you can see the property locations as well as create specific search areas using the drawing tools.

Saved Searches

The Saved Searches page is where all the searches you've saved are so you can quickly pull up a search you need without having to re-enter all the parameters again.


Location of the Saved Search page

  • It is the second option within the sidebar.


Parts of the Lists page

  • List of your saved searches.

  • Name of your saved search.

  • The parameters used for the saved search

  • Select 'View properties' to replace your current search results with your saved search results

  • Selecting the three dots provides you with two options. You can rename your saved search or you can delete it.


Lists page

The Lists Page is where your activity lists reside as well as the Call Console. You can access and create Call Lists as well as log and view your activities on the properties via the Call Console.

  • It is the third option within the sidebar.


Parts of the Lists page

  • Quick search

    • Here, you’ll be able to search for a call list either by its name or description.

  • List Dashboard

    • You can view all of the lists you've created. You can quickly access your most recent contact in the call list by selecting "Start Calling." This will take you directly to the call console page. Another option is to click on the name of the call list to view the overall call list page. And if a list doesn't have properties, there will be a message to add some.

  • New List

    • This option gives you the ability to create a new list.


Parts of the Call List Overview page

  • How to access the call list overview page

    • In the list dashboard, select the name of the call list you want

  • Quick Search

    • Here you can search for an associated property

  • Export Activities

    • Selecting this will export the activities you've done on these properties

  • Add Property

    • Selecting this will give you the option of adding a property to this Call List without having to go to the Search page

  • Start Calling

    • Selecting this will take you to the Call Console page for the next property in your list

  • Update List

    • Selecting will update any modifications you made within the Details name and/or description

  • Property

    • Selecting any property in the list will open the property view for that selected property

  • Primary Contact

    • Selecting the primary contact will take you to their contact record on the Contacts page

  • Action arrow

    • Selecting the action arrow will take you to the Call Console page for that property

  • Trash Icon

    • Selecting the trash icon will remove the property from the Call List


Parts of the Call Console page

  • How to access the Call Console page

    • In the list dashboard, select "Start Calling" of the call list you want

    • Within the Call Console Overview page

      • Selecting "Start Calling" will take you to the Call Console page for the next property in your list

    • Within the Call Console Overview page

      • Selecting the action arrow will take you to the Call Console page for that property

  • Previous

    • Selecting this will show you the previous property in your Call List

  • Number dropdown

    • Select the number between "Previous" and "Next" will allow you to search or select any property in your Call List

  • Next

    • Selecting this will show you the next property in your Call List

  • Property Summary

    • Selecting this will give you (if available) the Ownership, Property Information, Building Features, Location Information, and Tax Information of the property. You also have the option of adding a tag to the property.

  • Property Records

    • Selecting this will give you (if available) Loan Information

  • Property Demographics

    • Selecting this will give various demographics within 0.3, 0.5, and 1 mile. You also can modify those radiuses.

  • Comps

    • Selecting this will provide you with Comps based on selected parameters with the ability to modify them, and an analysis of those Comps, and the properties used for the Comps

  • Points of Interest

    • Selecting this will provide you with points of interest around the selected property like airports, bus routes, restaurants, hotels, landmarks, and attractions

  • Add Contact

    • Selecting this allows you to search and add a contact to the selected property and the ability to create a contact

  • Contact Arrows

    • Selecting either arrow will show the contract record associated with the selected property

    • You can also select the Contact dropdown to select the contract record you want

  • Contact Add Tag

    • Selecting this will associate the selected tag(s) to the selected contact record

  • Edit Contact Information

    • Selecting the three dots will allow you to modify the chosen contact information or delete the contact from the selected property

  • Call Activity

    • This activity allows you to select the call result and type of the details of the call for future reference and you can create a follow-up task

  • Email Activity

    • This activity allows you to send an email to the selected email and you can create a follow-up task

  • Other

    • This activity allows you to add an activity and you can create a follow-up task


  1. List of saved properties

In this section, you will find a list of all the properties saved in the selected call list, along with the primary contact for each property and their associated company. Additionally, you can export your recent activities, and add a contact or a property to the current call list.

Here, to access a specific contact record, simply click on the arrow icon. This will take you directly to the call console page for that record.

  1. Last contact interacted

In this section, it displays the last contact record you were working on in the call console page. Click "Start Calling" to continue working on the record.

  1. Call list details settings

Here, you can edit the name, description, and contact frequency of the call list.

Call Console Page

This is where you can modify the activity log for the property, create tasks, and save notes.

Utilizing the call console page:

  1. Activity Log

Within the “ Create New” tab, enter the results of a call, send an email, what occurred during the meeting and any other type of activity. Then save it.

  1. Property details

  1. Scroll down to view the property details and other similar properties, along with the number of call lists this property is linked to.

  1. Here, you can edit the property details such as the building, lot, valuation, loan, and tax information by clicking on “Edit”.

  1. Add a tag to the property.

  1. You can also choose to save the property as a bookmark.

  1. Contacts

  1. On the left hand side, you will find a list of all contact records for the property.These contacts are associated with the property. If the property has multiple owners, please select the "Primary Contact" option. This primary contact will also be saved in your Contacts.

  1. Here, you have the ability to add, modify, or remove contacts with ease. Simply select "Add New" to add a new contact, or use the ellipsis icon (the vertical 3-dot button) to edit or delete an existing contact.

  1. Editing existing contacts is the same as creating new ones.

  1. Tasks

On the right hand side you can view all tasks related to the contact or property. To create a new task, simply click on "New". You can also use the vertical ellipsis icon to make changes or delete a task. To mark a task as complete, just select the checkbox.

  1. Notes

Access to any notes you saved for the contacts or the property as well as notes for any other property, company record, or contact record.

Task page

The Task Page is where you can create tasks as well as view the tasks you created from the Search, Call List, and Contact pages.

  • It is the fourth option in the sidebar.


Parts of the Task Page

  • Quick search

    • Here, you’ll be able to search for a task by its name.

  • Due Date

    • In this area, you're able to view and select the tasks that are due today, due this week, due in the next 30 days, and all of your tasks.

  • Statuses

    • In this area, you're able to view and select your tasks based on their status of overdue, incomplete, completed, high priority, medium priority, and low priority.

  • New Task

    • Selecting this option will allow you to create a new task

      • Where you can create a task for a:

        • Call

        • Email

        • Other

      • As well as having the option to assign the task to a contact


      • You can also set a due date for the task

      • And set a priority of low, medium, and high for the task

  • Sort option

    • This option allows you to sort the show task by the newest, oldest, due first, due later, highest priority, and lowest priority

Contacts page

The Contacts page is where you create a contact or company, import, export, edit, and view all of your contacts and companies

  • It is the fifth option in the sidebar.


Parts of the Contacts page

  • Quick search

    • Here, you can search for a contact by its name.

  • Add Tag Filter

    • This option allows you to search and/or select a tag or tags to only show those contacts that have that tag or tags

  • Add to List

    • This option allows you to add a contact to a Call List, as well as take you directly to the List Page (which won't add the selected contacts to a list) and the ability to create a new list (which will add the selected contacts to the newly created list)

  • Add Tag

    • This option allows you to add a tag or tags to contact quickly. Just put your mouse icon next to the contacts name, select "Add Tag", and you'll get a dropdown of the tags you can search and select from.

  • Contact

    • Selecting a contact will open their record on the right

  • Export Your Contacts

    • This ability allows you to export your contacts

  • Import Contacts

    • This ability allows you to import your contacts via a file or you can manually enter the data

  • New Contact

    • This option allows you to add a contact or company record

  • Contact Dots

    • This option allows you to edit or delete a contact record

  • Contact Plus sign

    • This option allows you to add a tag or tags to the contact

  • Contact Tasks

    • This area will show any associated tasks for the contact as well as give you the option to add a task to the contact

  • Contact Activity History

    • This area will show any previous activities that are associated with the contact

  • Contact Portfolio

    • This area will show any properties the contact owns

  • Contact Lists

    • This area shows the lists associated with the contact with the ability to remove them from the list

  • Contact Notes

    • This area shows the notes associated with the contact as well as the ability to add a note to the contact

  • Companies

    • This area will show your company records

  • Company List Plus

    • This option allows you to add a tag or tags to the selected company

My Properties page

The My Properties page is where you can view properties you've saved

  • It is the sixth option in the sidebar.


Parts of the My Properties page

  • Quick search

    • Here, you can search for a saved search by its address.

External Listings

The External Listings page shows the listings you have viewed when the listing is powered by BuildOut

  • Quick search

    • Here, you can search for listings by name or address.

  • Any Brokerage

    • This option allows you to view all your listings or you can choose which listings from the selected brokerage to view

  • Website

    • This option will open up the listing in a new tab

  • Documents

    • This option will show you the brochure of the listing (if available)

Settings

The Settings page allows you to modify your profile, create and modify tags, create and view past exports, create and modify call templates, and view your subscription information

  • It is the ninth option in the sidebar and the first option in the pop-up


Parts of the Settings page

  • Profile

    • This area allows you to modify the following:

      • Name

      • Phone number

      • Biography

      • Professional Designations and Associations

      • Years of Experience

      • Accredited Investor

      • Your default map type

      • Your company name and if you're the owner

      • Job Title

      • Role (which is required)

      • Company website

      • The address you want to use

      • Social links

  • Tags

    • This area allows you to create, search, modify, and delete your tags

  • Exports

    • This area allows you to view your past exports as well as create and modify export templates for Property / Owner Data and Activity Data.

  • Call Template

    • This area allows you to create and modify the call templates that you want to use

  • Subscription

    • This area shows your current subscription access

Exclusive Listings

The Exclusive Listings page is available for the roles Investor / Owner / Developer and Other Service Provider.

This page shows active listings that can only be found on BuildOut.


Location of Exclusive Listings

  • Select Search, then the Exclusive Listings tab


Parts of the Exclusive Listings

  • Not Interested

    • After selecting a property, this option will allow you to provide feedback to the broker.

  • Save Property

    • After selecting a property, this option will save the property to your Saved Listings

  • Interested

    • After selecting a property, this option will allow you to notify the broker of your interest

  • Summary

    • This area shows an overview of the selected property

  • Documents

    • This area shows any flyer or brochure for the property as well as an easy process to view any documents the broker needs to approve or that need a confidentiality agreement

  • Representatives

    • This area shows you who you need to get in contact with regarding the selected property

Saved Listings

The Saved Listings page is available for the roles Investor / Owner / Developer and Other Service Provider.

This page shows the off-market listings that you saved from the Search page.


Location of Saved Listings page

  • This page is only available for the roles Investor / Owner / Developer and Other Service Provider, which can be changed within your profile.

  • It would be the third option in the sidebar


Parts of the Saved Listings page

  • Any Property Type dropdown

    • This option allows you to view your saved listings by the selected property type

  • Any Saved Search dropdown

    • This option allows you to view your saved listings by the selected saved search
