What is Connect?

Why did we merge the Prospect & Nurture and Connect products to create what is now known as Connect?

  • Whether you’re a broker seeking new clients or an investor seeking new properties to acquire, you’re prospecting! By merging Prospect & Nurture and Connect, we consolidated the best map and search features into a single “best of both worlds” experience.

What features do anonymous users get access to?

What forms of payment do we accept on desktop?

What forms of payment do we accept on mobile?

  • Google Pay and Apple Pay and, by association, any payment methods those services allow.

How can I cancel my subscription?

  • If purchased on the web: login, go to Settings > Billing > Cancel subscription

  • iOS / Google: manage your subscription in your phone settings or app store

  • If purchased through a sales rep: contact our Support Team via the widget on this page or by sending an email to support@buildout.com!

If I purchases the upgrade, cancel, and then decide to purchase the upgrade again at a later date, will any of the paid data I entered/saved restore upon repurchase?

  • Yes! We don’t delete any data on our end unless they you delete their account (which is only possible via mobile).

Why don’t I see a Buildout Valuation on a property?

  • We intentionally hide our valuation on properties in the following circumstances:

    • Our valuation is 5%+ less than the listing price (if listing price is present)

      • Ex) If the valuation is $950,000, and the listing price is $1,000,000, we wont show the valuation.

    • The Building Class is "A"

    • The Property type is 10 (Residential)

    • The last sale price is more than 50% lower

      • Ex) If the property last sold for $500,000 and our valuation is $1,000,000, we won't show the valuation.

Should my Saved Searches from desktop be appearing on my mobile app?

  • If the Saved Searches were saved from the All Properties tab on desktop, you should see those on mobile as well. If the Saved Searches were saved from the Exclusive Listings tab on desktop, you will not see those on mobile as we do not yet have Exclusive Listings available on mobile. And keep in mind that only Investors have Exclusive Listings on desktop currently.

How large is our investor list?

Buildout Connect currently has an investor base of roughly 5,000 active, verified investors.

Where are the investor lists coming from?

Our investor list is developed using multiple sources including public data sources as well as proprietary sources like Buildout Insights. Buildout Connect also includes investors who have responded and interacted with Buildout content and property websites, or responded to our own outreach campaigns for investors and owners.
